Holy Trinity's Music Ministry

Holy Trinity’s Children’s Easter Choir will resume Wednesday practices beginning February 29 from 6 – 6:45 PM in the Choir Room. The other practice dates are March 7, 21 and 28.  Comprised of up to 30 second through eighth graders, this choir will sing at 10:30 AM Mass on Easter Sunday. To register, please e-mail the child’s first and last name, grade level, and TWO phone numbers (primary and emergency contact) to Music Director Kathy Cumber at kcumber@comcast.net. The registration deadline is Tuesday, February 21. 

Who We Are: The singers and instrument players of Holy Trinity’s standard choirs range in age from middle school students through adults. The children's choir is comprised of second through sixth graders, and sings at Christmas and Easter.  Holy Trinity’s cantors are chosen from qualified members of our choirs.

The Choirs are in need: Holy Trinity’s 8:30 & 10:30 AM choirs are in need of harmony singers, i.e. altos, tenors and basses (especially altos, ladies!). You do not need to know how to read music. Please e-mail Kathy Cumber at kcumber@comcast.net for practice times or more info. Thank you!

Holy Trinity’s Children’s Christmas Choir will resume Wednesday practices beginning Nov. 16 from 6 – 6:45 PM in the Choir Room.  The other practice dates are 11/30, 12/14 and 12/21.  Comprised of up to 30 second through sixth graders, this choir will sing at 10:30 AM Mass on Christmas Day.   To register, please e-mail the child’s first and last name, grade level, and TWO phone numbers (primary and emergency contact) to Music Director Kathy Cumber at kcumber@comcast.net.  The registration deadline is Monday, November 14. 

Music at Holy Trinity Masses:

  • Sat., 5:30 pm: Cantored
  • Sat. 7:30 pm:  Spanish choir- year round.  (Practice Fri. PM Sept. – May at All Saints)
  • Sun., 8:30 am: Traditional Choir Sept..- May.  Cantor  June – Aug. (Practice Wed. PM Sept. – May)
  • Sun., 10:30 am: Contemporary Choir – year round.  (Practice Tues. PM Sept. – May)
  • Sun., 12:30 pm:  Latin Choir & Schola – year round.  (Practice Thurs. PM)
  • Sun., 5:00 pm: Contemporary Praise & Worship Choir – year round.  (Practice Wed. PM)

Instrument players: We are currently blessed with volunteer piano, guitar, mandolin, electric bass, violin, flute & clarinet players within our ministry.  Additional volunteers playing these or other instruments are welcome!

Sound board volunteers are needed on a rotating or substitution basis at the 7:30 PM, 8:30 AM, 10:30 AM & 5 PM Masses.  These people run the mixer that balances and projects the choir’s music throughout the church during Mass.  Volunteers are high school age and older.  We will be happy to train you!  Please e-mail Kathy Cumber at kcumber@comcast.net.  Thank you!
