Holy Trinity Mom’s Group

The Mom's Group exists to provide spiritual, educational and social support to all Moms at Holy Trinity. The group helps mothers to fulfill their vocation as mothers and to inspire them to live a good Christian life.

The Mom's Group sponsors a monthly formation meeting that provides opportunities for speakers, book discussions and other activities in a social setting on topics of importance to Catholic mothers. The Mom's Group also coordinates "Kids for Jesus", aka "K4J" - the virtue based program for children ages 3-7.

Holy Trinity Prayer Tree

The Prayer Tree provides intercession to any and all in need. They may be members of our parish, another parish or not Catholic at all. If you know anyone at all in need of prayers, we're always here to help! Requests are taken over the phone or via email and then emailed to our members to be included in their daily prayers.

If you are interested in joining the Holy Trinity Prayer Tree, call Sharon Cronan at (703) 791-6089 or email Momsboomin@aol.com.

Sewing Ministry

In this ministry, we do repair work on Father’s vestments as well as any altar cloths that are in need. We also make the Baptismal bibs and the stoles that are given to babies and RCIA candidates, as well as the brown scapulars that are given out at Easter to new Catholics. We crochet, embroider and sew various items. If you have any talents in these areas and are looking for a quiet way to help the church, this is the place for you. For information, call Bernice Hartless at (703) 753-7402.

Trinitarians

Thirty-eight Holy Trinity seniors and Father Jerry Wooton enjoyed a day trip to the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. Father Wooton led us on a side tour of the lovely chapel at the Dominican House of Studies.

Vocations

The Vocations Committee of Holy Trinity Parish was formed to help assist those discerning God’s call to religious life. Another aim is to inform the community about various religious orders. The vocations director of the Parish works with other vocations directors in the diocese and also with the diocesan Office of Vocations to promote vocations throughout our family in faith. Our display of information can be seen regularly after the Sunday Masses. If you would like to help, have questions about the priesthood or religious life, or know of someone interested, please contact Hank and Donnita Whittier at (703) 753-6027.
