Mission: The Marriage Ministry strengthens sacramental marriages in the Church and provides support to all couples called to the holy vocation of marriage. We accomplish this by fostering a community of mutual support and offering monthly date nights that affirm spousal love, provide continual learning, and encourage spiritual growth. Marriage Ministry monthly date nights blend dinner with inspirational talks, interactive discussions, social mingling with other Catholic couples, and prayer with the goal of fostering successful marriages—spiritually, emotionally, physically and psychologically. No matter how many years a couple has been married or where a couple is at in its marriage relationship—struggling, thriving or somewhere in between—every couple is called to grow and witness in love for God and one another. All married and engaged couples are welcome!

The Wisdom of the Church on Marriage: The "The matrimonial covenant, by which a man and a woman establish between themselves a partnership of the whole of life, is by its nature ordered toward the good of the spouses and the procreation and education of offspring; this covenant between baptized persons has been raised by Christ the Lord to the dignity of a sacrament." Catechism of the Catholic Church, 1601.
Marriage is an act of the will that signifies and involves a mutual gift, which unites the spouses and binds them to their eventual souls, with whom they make up a sole family—a domestic Church. Pope Saint John Paul II.
The family is the first and fundamental school of social living: as a community of love, it finds in self-giving the law that guides it and makes it grow. The self-giving that inspires the love of husband and wife for each other is the model and norm for the self-giving that must be practiced in the relationships between brothers and sisters and the different generations living together in the family. Pope Saint John Paul II.
Resources: The Marriage Ministry has collated a list of recommended books on marriage, motherhood and fatherhood, and similar topics. Many of these books are available for purchase from the parish gift shop and for loan from the parish library or the local community library.

July 2018 Retreat for Married Couples with Fr. Paul Scalia (Recordings)
Blessed Luigi and Maria Quattrocchi: The Holy Trinity Marriage Ministry has chosen Blessed Luigi and Maria Quattrocchi as patrons for the ministry. Please join the Marriage Ministry to pray to this blessed couple for all marriages.
"Dear families, the path of holiness lived together as a couple is possible, beautiful, extraordinarily fruitful, and fundamental for the good of the family, the Church and society. Pray the Lord that there be many more married couples who can reveal in the holiness of their lives, the "great mystery" of spousal love, which originates in creation and is fulfilled in the union of Christ with his Church. Dear husbands and wives, I encourage you to embrace your role and your responsibilities, renew your missionary zeal, making your homes privileged places for announcing and accepting the Gospel in an atmosphere of prayer and in the concrete exercise of Christian solidarity."
Excerpt from Pope John Paul II's Beatification homily of Luigi and Maria Quattrocchi.
