K4J - Kids for Jesus

K4JKids 4 Jesus is a Catholic, non-proft, educational organization focusing on the character formation of children. K4J was started by a group of lay people inspired to use the spirituality of Regnum Christi in an effort to serve the Church and meet the needs of today's Catholic families.

The mission of Kids 4 Jesus is to help kids "to Know Jesus, to Love Jesus, and to Share Jesus."

Holy Trinity will have three Kids 4 Jesus clubs for the 2008-2009 school year. The program begins in September and will run through June. We currently have 2 pre-K4J clubs (ages 3-5) meeting the 2nd Friday and 3rd Thursday of each month from 10:00-11:30 am in church's Youth room. There is also a K4J Friends Club (ages 5-8) that will meet each 2nd Sunday of the month from 1:30-3:00 pm in the same location. Each month, the children will be exposed to a virtue--generosity or attentiveness for example--via a formal lesson from one of the participating parents. In addition to the lesson, the virtue is reinforced by the children assembling a craft and also eating a snack which directly relate to the virtue topic of that month.

The 2008-2009 co-leader of K4J are Aimee Rop and Nicole Miller. If you have questions about registering for K4J, please contact Nicole Miller at 571-379-7157 or hercdriver73@yahoo.com. We welcome children to join us at any time during the year; there is no deadline for registration.
