Homeschool at Holy Trinity

Holy Trinity Homeschoolers (HTH) was established to promote homeschooling among Catholic families and to support those families who are engaged in providing their children's primary education at home.

Holy Trinity Homeschoolers will be offering Co-op classes for the 2008-2009 school year.  The classes will be for 7th graders and up and held on Mondays at the church building from 12:00-4:00 pm.  There are 6 courses offered this year.  Please follow the directions below to register your child for the courses (Forms are in the right hand column).

See Class Descriptions to see what classes will be offered.

You must register with the Co-op (see Co-op Registration Form) as well as with each individual teacher that your child is taking classes with (see Class Enrollment Form).

The instructions on where to mail the forms is under each course description or on the form itself.

All registrations are due by August 25th.

For dates classes will be held as well as holidays, see 2008/2009 School Year Calendar.

"Since parents have conferred life on their children they have a most solemn obligation to educate their offspring. Hence, parents must be acknowledged as the first and foremost educators of their children. Their role as educators is so decisive that scarcely anything can compensate for their failure in it." (Gravissimum Educationis #3)

HTH has as the guiding principle of all its functions and activities, fidelity to the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church, particularly to the Pope, who, as successor to St. Peter, is the universal teacher in matters of faith and morals, and to the diocesan bishop teaching in communion with him.

"...Religious submission of will and mind must be shown in a special way to the authentic teaching authority of the Roman Pontiff, even when he is not speaking ex cathedra. That is, it must be shown in such a way that his supreme magisterium is acknowledged with reverence, the judgment made by him are sincerely adhered to, according to his manifest mind and will" (Lumen Gentium #25)

We are a parish organization thereby helping to serve the needs of the parish community of Holy Trinity through educating families in Catholic culture.

* Gravissimum Educationis and Lumen Gentium are official Catholic Church documents from the Second Vatican Council.
