2nd Annual Golf Tournament
Come out to the 2nd Annual Holy Trinity "Fun" Golf Tournament at Chantilly Golf & Country Club on Wednesday, October 29th. Starting time is 11:00 AM. 50 bucks covers your golf, cart and range fees. Get your group together and enjoy a round at one of the better courses in the area. Holy Trinity Softball Team
Thank you to all who came out to cheer on the softball team this season. We finished the season in 2nd place and had a great time! We will be having at least one team for Fall Ball and if we have enough interest, two for Fall and at least two for Spring.
Fall ball information: Will be an 8-10 week season beginning around September. Once the league locks down the information, I will pass it along. The league only has two divisions and I am not certain if new teams (teams that did not play in the Spring) are eligible for Fall.
Spring 2009: We will have at least 2 teams, possibly 3. There will be a Division 3 team and Division 4 (5 and/or 6) team. Scott Patchan has volunteered to manage this team. Thanks Scott! The Division 3 team is an all male team where the other teams will be Co-ed.
Though I have not gotten back to everyone who has emailed me for Fall Ball or Spring 2009, I will. If you know what Division you would like to play in, please let me know. The Division 3 team is mostly set, but there are still a few slots open. If anyone would like to run a 3rd team - please contact me.
With all of this talk of playing softball we need to thank those who made this season possible: Bonny Dempsey from EmbroidME who donated our jersey's and hats. By far the best looking uniforms out there! Also thank you to Karen Mantyla from Quiet Power Inc who sponsored the league fees and cheered us on! Fr. Wooton for seeing us in action - we need all of the support that we can get! And of course Fr. Peffley for allowing us to have this opportunity.
With 2-3 teams expected for Spring, we will again be looking for sponsors. The league fee is $1000 per team / per season (Fall fees are a little less). If anyone is able to help out that would be great! If we are unable to get sponsorship, each player will be responsible for their portion of the fee.
