Holy Trinity Family Night at Splash Down Waterpark, August 1

Splash Down Waterpark. Holy Trinity Family Night at Splash Down Waterpark will be held Sunday, August 1st, from 7:00 PM - 10 PM. The price is $5.50 per person. Children 2 and under are free. God’s Most Wanted: AKA “Salty Catholic Disciples”
Sister Sheila will discuss the practical implications of Jesus’ richly significant compliment: “You are the salt of the earth” Why does Jesus exhort us to be like “salt”? Why not “sugar?” In what ways can you be a model of a joy-the filled, energetic “salt of the earth” Catholic disciple ? Come to find some “zesty” answers! Sr. will also give a 30-40 minute talk Friday morning after the 9am Mass, "The Seven Deadly Sins."

HEROIC WITNESSES:Catholic Priests and Sisters in Russia from 1917 to the Present
Sister Maria Stella, daughter of parishioners Hank and Donnita Whittier, graduated from the College of William and Mary, and received a Masters of Sacred Music from Emory University and an M.A. in Catholic Studies from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota. Sister Stella professed her perpetual vows with the Sisters in Jesus the Lord, a Roman Catholic community of canonesses regular who are dedicated to reviving the Catholic Church in Far Eastern Russia. Reception follows the talk in Saint Patrick Hall.

Dr. Scott Hahn. An all day seminar will be held at Holy Trinity Catholic Church on Saturday, September 11. Talks include: "Letter & Spirit," "Hope for Hard Times" and "Hail, Holy Queen." There will be opportunity for Q & A and Dr. Hahn will be signing books. Dr. Scott Hahn is Professor of Theology and Scripture at Franciscan University of Steubenville, and an exceptionally popular speaker and author of more than 40 books. His newest titles include the Catholic Bible Dictionary; Many Are Called; and Revelation—the final volume of the New Testament Ignatius Catholic Study Bible. Family Festival, October 9

Holy Trinity's First Annual Fall Festival will be Saturday, October 9th from 11:00 am - 4:00 pm. If you would like to be part of this exciting event, please contact Debi Kromer at debkromer@verizon.net or (571) 247-3871. We are going to need between 150-200 volunteers. This would be an awesome option for students who need to earn volunteer hours. Remember to SAVE THE DATE!

Pilgrimage for the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes, February 9-17, 2011

Join Father David Wathen, OFM, from the Franciscan Monastery in Washington, on a Pilgrimage to Lourdes, Paris, Nevers and Lisieux. Pilgrims will join in the celebrations for the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes, will visit the places associated with the life of St. Bernadette, will visit Paris and also Lisieux, the home of St. Therese,"The Little Flower."
