About Holy Trinity Parish
On June 27, 2001 Bishop Paul S. Loverde established Holy Trinity Parish, the sixty-seventh parish in the Catholic Diocese of Arlington. Father Francis J. Peffley celebrated the first Mass on July 21, 2001 at the Benedictine Monastery, Bristow, Virginia. Since that first Mass of approximately 200 people, the parish has rapidly expanded. Holy Trinity has experienced tremendous growth and is building an extremely strong foundation for our Catholic families. Today, we have almost 4,000 registered families, over 60 ministries and committees, and an excellent religious education program for our adults and children. Father Thomas Vander Woude resides as the parish pastor.
Since our first Mass, Holy Trinity has been blessed with parishioners that have actively become involved with our parish life. Holy Trinity is unique in that we have over 30% of our families active in our parish ministries, committees and voluntary programs.
